For well over 100 years, British car manufacturer Rolls-Royce have defined the very meaning of the term ‘luxury car.’

From their first Silver Ghost back in 1907 to their majestic Rolls Royce Phantom II, the company have constantly been at the forefront of the industry thanks to their critically acclaimed design and world-beating British Engineering.

Yet not content to be the leading name in luxury both past and present, Rolls Royce are now setting their sights on the years ahead, with a brand new concept they promise will redefine the very future of luxury motoring.

Announced in the company’s trademark grandiose style at a high class ceremony in London, the Rolls Royce Vision Next 100 is set to be the brand’s first ever driverless vehicle, but it isn’t that which has created a recent buzz among car critics and Rolls aficionados alike.

A Unique Design for the Future of Luxury

That honour goes to the decadent interior, the space-age technology, and of course, the truly radical design concept.

A million miles away from the gentle grace and elegance of the luxury Rolls Royce Phantom II and Ghost hire cars in our London fleet, the Vision Next 100 looks like something straight out of the latest Batman movie, albeit with a style that is unmistakably the brand’s own.

A Virtual Chauffeur

Rather than the usual well-suited chauffeur, the luxury car comes with its own Artificial Intelligence computer named Eleanor, named after actress Eleanor Thornton, who is said to be the inspiration for the brand’s famous Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament. More than just a virtual chauffeur however, Eleanor can apparently can do everything from reminding owners of upcoming meetings to getting the Vision Next 100 fully switched on and ready go to before the passengers even leave the house.

While not everyone is a fan, the new concept car does have its fair share of supporters, all no doubt clamouring to add a journey in this unique luxury vehicle to their bucket list.

Yet sadly, anyone wanting to get their hands on this sci-fi inspired luxury Rolls Royce, will have a little bit of a wait on their hands; the company aren’t planning to have the Vision Next 100 ready for purchase until at least 2040.
